Ok, I wasn´t studying for a moment there.. but I had to laugh with this video I came across; Since I moved I forgot about this bands existence, but they seem to be doing very well; applause!! In ´Losing a friend´ they are driving around on our hitchhikingtrail, where we were stuck for quite a while:) Ale I know you will like this:

Dear black coffee..
Over here it´s not exactly a Thank-god-its-Friday, but more an opening premier of my own weekend of utter isolation from the world. My room has been converted into strict Military-ExamStudy-Camp with no available mercy-applications.

The girls at home let me down and deserted in taking their exams today..and dare I say it, celebration sponsored by beer. Buried in law books let me say: I object!

On subject of alcohol I spent a whole day with Mattias in Malmö Stadshus, where we attended the first half of a 2-day seminar on Responsible Serving of Alcohol/Alcohol and Drugs in Bars.. The seminar was very interesting and mainly cause of the VARIETY of people there.. Burnout barowners, angry bouncers, highprofile hotelmanagers, waitresses, dragqueens, bartenders etc We watched movieclips on drunk people with debates on how to handle different situations in bars/pubs/clubs, the alcohollaw and statistics.
Learn how to drink (in swedish)

I learned how much trouble you can get into..for example serving a minor and false ID; this was not exactly the kind of worries me and my friends had when we were 16.. It´s laughable looking back on the type of tricks we made to get in to places in downtown Reykjavík ( age limit: 20). An anonymous friend even put on the firealarm by opening a backdoor of a club.. and another smoothtalked her way in on IDs which made her 10 years older ("svona er lífið!")..another pretended to be German who couldn´t understand english when asked for ID (that failed cause there was an actual german present!). I was lucky enough to have an older brother´81 whose blond female friends let me their ID... and it always worked! But I can´t imagine that the bouncers really were that stupid as we presumed them to be.
Yes the good old days...
have mercy babe!

Try in general to avoid these kind of situations.

People people I know I posted some heavy snowphotos here 3 weeks ago..but since 2 days ago we are having some serious summertime here in Lund. It is unreal..people are walking around in t-shirts, not a single sniff of cloud in sight and folks are going overboard with the ice-cream..Emma and I took a summerwalk and we couldn´t even see the big square anymore.. from teenager to grandma was sitting on it sunbathing and stocking up the ice-cream. Wonderful! Can´t wait til they put up the “uteservering” (outside-serving-beer) in the squares..

Bartending at Lunds Nation went a little crazy.. the nurse-department (400 girls and 5 boys) had a night out and god knows what they had been injecting but the dancefloor behaviour wasn´t anything for kids to see..We are talking about people CRAWLING on the bar.. I think we had around 500 people! In the end the crowd went out of hands (to Pink´s U and Ur Hand I might add) and we the staff who had late pass on collecting glasses gave up and went dancing ourselves instead..If you can´t beat them join them.

What I remember from the superhero-party is instant replay of >Aqua´s Cartoon Heroes< and 100 people in tights and swimsuits! Why do people here always have to put cranberry-juice in everything! That is something to wonder over. Lots of dancing on tables and singing. This guy was at our table and won a can of shots (w/cranberry) for his He-man-outfit (he is wearing a purse)..interesting evening;)

On Friday we get our second 10day-long homeexam in law..until then you´ll find me on summervacation.
Amy´s getting back home from Spain and the plan is to finnish our Neuswanstein-1000-piece-puzzle once and for all..It´s been laying unfinished on our “living room”(south west corner of the room)-table for about 3 months now.. I guess cause we have the boring “sky-part” left..nothing but blue pieces. So I´m expecting an evening of australian red wine/jazz/pyjama/puzzle evening.. painted cozyness.

Everyone who knows me know that I´m not the type to air out feelings... but the last couple of days I´ve had quite a bit of the inevitable homesickness of the worst kind.. I don´t get it often at all but when I do it´s very bad. Of course I think of my family and friends from home every day but I can still function (sort of speak:)). There are so many great new things to see new people to meet. But sometimes you really need your unreplaceable best friends who know you like nobody else will..and they know who they are.
When I start missing those friends I start missing Reykjavík and then we are on the subject of our MOUNTAINS fresh air and beauty.. everything is so fucking flat here!;)
On top of this my postbox hands me a letter from my grandma. She is my “weather-grandma”..she has sent me letters while I´ve been away from home, telling me how the weather has been in iceland, weather to be expected and she askes how my weather is.
My grandma wants me to see the whole world and is so excited about what I do. She told me she thinks I should maybe spend the summer in Switzerland and introduce myself to their hotelmanagement.. I think a big part of my homesickness is that I know I won´t spend the summer in Iceland.

Well grandma, after the rain the sun comes out.. Emma, my housemate and good friend here came over for a long coffee.. Some golden people can really make your day.
Tomorrow is a new day but for now I dedicate my day thinking of the people in my heart.
...wauw did you read this post all the way here?
For you foreigners reading here is

So London was great. Apart from the most horrible flight over there..flying next to a man who before departure took a bath in 15 liters of cheap bad perfume. I thought my nose would get used to it, but I was wrong. I buried myself into my Harry Potter (and the Order of the Phoenix) book. In London we stayed in Victoria youth hostel sharing a room with snoring people who then left in the middle of the night.. We always manage to get the snorers (how common is that by the way?) – in Riga we got a whole choir.

In London most people talked adorable like Dame Judi Dench and being there for only 1 day left us with a whole lot of running around the city.. Buckingham Palace - Westminster Abbey/Cathedral - Hyde Park – Thames - London Eye - House of Parliament - Big Ben – Harrods - Piccadilly Circus – Soho – Chinatown - Trafalgar Square and last but not least the Victoria and Albert Museum :)

Next Canterbury took me by a very nice surprise; charming city - we went to a bar called Canterbury Tales with some of the locals/workingmates of M and there I had my very first (and last) british Ale..at first it tastes kind of like beer but the more you drink the worse it gets; but hei, you´re not in Britain every day. Cheers mate!
I have seen a lot of churches in my days but wauw! Canterbury Cathedral is so very impressive! It is really something to remember; I remember going there 3 times in 1 day..and I´m a whole lot wiser on stained glass.

It all happen so fast, now I´m back, I feel like I never left. Is anyone else starting to look forward to the summer cause I can´t wait anymore..enough school.

.....way to keep busy; I have to find a superhero-costume by Friday! Help!
